Realtime Blackhole List Information

Southern Star uses multiple Realtime Blackhole Lists (RBLs) to help identify mail servers which are probable sources of spam mail.  Mail servers are typically blacklisted due to configuration errors, lack of security, or use of a dynamic IP address.  The Administrator of a blacklisted mail server can solve the problem and have the server delisted.

The RBLs used by Southern Star are:

All of these sites allow you to see if your mail server is listed.  If it is, after you have fixed the problem they have procedures to get it tested and unlisted.

In addition to the above RBLs, there are many others.  To see if your mail server is listed on any of them you can save some time by using the following sites which check many RBLs at once.

Southern Star also maintains a small blackhole list of our own.  If your mail server is on it please contact our Blacklist Administrator for assistance.
